Whiteplainz- Next Stop Earth

Studying the art of rhyme for over fifteen years, Whiteplainz has garnered attention from legendary artists Casual from Hieroglyphics, Ice T, the management of Wu Tang Clan and George Stroumboulopolos of CBC's "The Hour", among others.

Concrete Jungle, his first official release hit store shelves in 1999 via the Mad Love compilation. The disc also included an array of Vancity's finest hip hop talents such as Swollen Members, Checkmate & Moka Only. All proceeds were donated to the Sheway Project, a battered pregnant women's shelter on lower Eastside of Vancouver.

After a couple years of refining his stage show around the lower mainland and BC with his crew, Whiteplainz took time off from live performing to focus more on music production, composition and promotion. Forming the production company Militantmindzmuzik with his brother from another mother Insh'allah aka Tha Inz, a massive library of badass beats accumulated. This time spent with his Tech 1200's, sampler and keyboard brought Plainz his first engineer and producer credit. In 2004 reggae artist Jahranimo released his first full length CD Real Life which included the Plainz produced "Judge Not" as well as a guest vocal spot.

"Music is what I live for and I try to make art that will make you laugh out loud or lift your spirits when things get tough."
